Locations of Propane Tanks
Propane Tanks are big, red canisters and you will see a word “Boom” written on the side part of it. The Propane Tanks can be found on The Rig in the southwest corner of the map. There, you will find tanks inside some of the shipping containers and also on trolleys and forklift trucks to the west side of the deck. For your information, The Rig is a new POI which is introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 and it is located on the bottom left side of the map exactly in the middle of the ocean.
If you get into the upstairs room on the south side of the deck between buildings 1 and 2, you will be able to find another five Fortnite Propane Tanks which are tucked away there because The Rig is heavily populated with Propane Tanks.
How to Destroy Structures with Propane Tanks?
To complete this task is easy. After you find the Propane Tanks, now you have to be able to destroy structures with the Propane Tanks that you have found. You are able to pick an area and then hit a group of connected walls, floors or furniture with your harvesting tool until each piece is almost destroyed. After that, you have to pick up a Fortnite Propane Tank and then you have to throw or drop it in the middle of your target zone. It is recommended for you to use a gun or explosive weapon because dealing damage to a propane tanks with a pickaxe will cause it to explode but will also cause damage to you as a player. So, you are able to take some steps back then shoot the tank to be able to destroy structures.
