Gifting in the game called Fortnite Battle Royale allows you to purchase in-game content with V-Bucks and send them into your friends. Before you send the gift to your friend, you must first enable Two-Factor Authentication or 2FA. Aside from that, you also must reach level 2 or higher.
If you want to know how to enable Two-Factor Authentication, the first thing that you have to do is to click on the PASSWORD & SECURITY tab in order to view the security settings. This thing is in the ACCOUNT Settings. At the bottom of the page, under the TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION heading, you need to click to ENABLE AUTHENTICATOR APP or ENABLE EMAIL AUTHENTICATION as the two-factor method.
If you like to use the authenticator app for two-step verification, there are a few common authenticator app that are able to be found in the mobile device app store. The first one is Google Authenticator, the second one is LastPass Authenticator, the third one is Microsoft Authenticator, and the fourth one is Authy.
In case you need to know how to disable Two_Factor Authentication or 2FA on your Epic account, you are able to do it by following these steps. First of all, you need to visit the ACCOUNT page. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to do so. Then, select the tab Password & Security. In the next step, you have to do is to select the DISABLE button related to the 2FA method you enabled: DISABLE AUTHENTICATOR APP or DISABLE EMAIL AUTHENTICATION.
There are some things that you are not able to gift. Those include V-Bucks, real money offers, items that are not currently in the item shop, items that are already in the locker, and some store items such as Battle Pass Tier Bundles.
You are able to gift using only some platforms such as Android, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. The good news is that all the gifts are non-refundable so please be sure you give the gift to the right friend.
If you tried to send a gift but you are getting an error, there are a few reasons sending a gift may result in an error. For those who exceed the total amount of gifts you are able to send within 24 hours, sending a gift will fail. You will have to wait 24 hours before you are able to send more gifts. If you are trying to send an item as a gift to a player who already has that item, gifting will fail. If you have been friends with a player for less than 48 hours, gifting will fail. In this case, both the sender and the receiver(s) of gifts must be EPIC friends for at least 48 hours prior to sending or receiving gifts.
