The developer of Fortnite called Epic Games has began a waiting list for everyone who wants to play Fortnite on their Android devices. Actually, the game is a Samsung exclusive at the moment, but is now in the early stages of being made avaialble to the other Android devices.
Fortnite is currently only available through the Galaxy Apps store of Samsung. Each player who visits the official website of Epic Games must sign up for an invitation in order to download the game on a non-Samsung device. Apparently, there is no indication how long the wait will be before being able to download the game.
Aside from that, there is also a restriction on which Android phones will run Fortnite Beta. The list includes Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL, Asus ROG Phone, Asus Zenfone 4 Pro, Asus 5Z, Asus V, Essential PH-1, Huawei Honor 10, Huawei Honor Play, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Mate RS, Huawei Nova 3, Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei V10, LG G5, LG G6, LG G7 ThinQ, LG V20, LG V30, LG V30+, Nokia 8, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 6, Razer, Xiaomi Blackshark, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi 5S, Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus, Xiaomi 6, Xiaomi 6 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer, Xiaomi Mi 8SE, Xiaomi Mi Mix, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, ZTE Axon 7, ZTE Axon 7s, ZTE Axon M, ZTE Nubia, ZTE Z17, ZTE Z17s, and ZTE Nubia Z11.
In addition, Epic Games states that some devices may not play Fortnite Beta at all, including some Sony and HTC models, and states the minimum requirements are 3GB of RAM, Android 5.0 or later, and a modern GPU.
Please keep in mind that the game will not be downloaded from the Google Play, but from the official website of Epic Games and an email invitation will be sent out to the players who signed up for the waiting list.
If you want to sign up, the first thing that should be done is to go to the Fortnite Android Beta site. Then, press Sign Up for Email Invite. The next thing that should be done is to choose if you play Fortnite already. For everyone who plays Fortnite on another system, please choose the system and login. After logginng in, choose the Android that you use. From there, you will be put on a waiting list for the Fortnite Beta. Please wait to get an email that will send you the Fortnite Android Beta installer.
Once you get the email, you need to open the email on your Android phone. Then, tab on Get Started. Afterward, Select to Install from Samsung or Epic Games. If you select Samsung, it will download an installer that you are able to install without changing any settings on your device and if you install from Epic games, you will have to allow your phone to install from unknown sources by tapping on Settings and enabling the install.
