Apparently, Epic Games have already released a blog post to announce Fortnite Item Shop Community vote. Epic are always looking for the ways to improve Fortnite. One of ways to improve Fortnite is by adding the new features to the game. Previously, we get information that there would be a new system in place which allows the players of Fortnite to be able to vote for a cosmetic which would return to the shop.
Now, Epic Games has released a blog post outlining the new Fortnite Item Shop Community Vote feature and the first chance to vote will be on September 11th at 8 PM ET. In the text below, we are going to share what Epic Games say on its blog post.
Epic Games are testing a new feature which gives fans of Fortnite the ability to vote for what comes back to the new Item Shop slot. When this feature is available, the Item Shop content is going to battle against one another. Fans of Fortnite are able to place their vote on what returns for an encore.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
For each Community vote event, you are able to vote once a day in support of the item you want to see return. While your daily vote is locked once you confirm a choice, you are able to vote for other items on any following days for the duration of the event. Please be sure to login each day for getting a new vote and show your support. At the end of the Community vote countdown, all player votes are going to be tallied up and the winner is going to be available in the Item Shop for a limited time. The first Fortnite skin vote begins once the shop rolls over in Fortnite v10.30.
The Fortnite skin vote is live in the Fortnite Item Shop. The event allows the players to vote for one of three skins being showcased. The skin that gets the most votes by the community within 24 hours will be available in the shop the next day.
The Community vote features three previously leaked skins in Fortnite Patch 11.10. Those three skins are Bushranger, Rustler and the Wake rider. For your information, Bushranger skin is a humanoid tree creature which is not unlike Groot, with a leaf covering and a pine-cone bandoleer. The skin would be included in the Woodsy set alongside the Buzzy Bag backbling. The Rustler skin is a stereotypical Texas gal with a cowboy hat, a crop top, and strapped with a magazine on her shoulder. The skin would come with the Leather Lugger backbling. While the Wake Rider skin is a man in a motocross helmet and regular wake rider outfit outside that fact he prominently adorns a pistol across his chest. The skin would come with the Wave Fuel backbling.
Regardless of which skin wins the vote, the winning skin is going to be available on the store on Thursday and cost 1,200 V-bucks. It will be in Rare tier.
