Fortnite Transcendent Rarity

In both Fortnite: Save the World and Fortnite: Battle Royale, rarity is a classification of traps, weapons, survivors, and heroes depending on how powerful and rare they are on the game of Fortnite. For the cosmetics, rarity represents their uniqueness and creativity put into them. It may also represent the series they are included in.

Transcendent is one of Rarity types in Fortnite. Currently, this Transcendent rarity is only used for testing developer items such as the “Dev Test Asset” (excluding early item spawner in Creative) Glider. For your information, the Glider is a Fortnite: Battle Royale item that the player uses while they are jumping off the Battle Bus. When the player using a Launch Pad, so the player is able to reactivate the Glider to avoid fall damage. You have to note that currently in Fortnite: Save The World and Fortnite: Battle Royale have no obtainable Transcendent items through normal gameplay.


Here are some information related Transcendent Rarity:

  • This Transcendent is an exclusive rarity for Test assets.
  • STW: This Transcendent rarity was used for Mythic Lead Survivors during early Fortnite stages since Mythic was not added until one year ago.
  • BR: Certain glitches allow you to get a cosmetic with this Transcendent rarity in the locker.
  • CR: The Item Spawner Plate was the only item with this Transcendent rarity, it quickly got changed to Rare.


You have to know that the Item Spawner Plate was an item in Fortnite Creative. It could create items of any rarity. Formerly, it had the rarity Transcendent, the highest in the game of Fortnite. Later, the rarity was changed to Rare. Of course, the Item Spawner Plate is able to spawn items. You are going to have an ability to change the duration between spawns, change the visibility size, and more. The newer version of the Item Spawner Plate has a feature which the plate does not have: the items costs, allowing working in-game shops before vending machines were added to the game.

Rarity describes both the relative rarity of finding a particular item and is an expression of its quality. Remember that each level has a name and color associated with it:

  • Common – Gray
  • Uncommon – Green
  • Rare – Blue
  • Epic – Purple
  • Legendary – Orange
  • Mythic – Gold
  • Marvel Series – Dark Red
  • Dark Series – Magenta
  • Transcendent – Light Red
  • DC Series – Gray-Blue
  • Icon Series – Cyan
  • Frozen Series – Light Blue
  • Lava Series – Dark Orange
  • Star Wars Series – Dark Blue and Yellow
  • Shadow Series – Black
  • Slurp Series – Dark Cyan


These items are especially rare. They are obtainable only from certain special sources. Therefore, they cannot be added to the Collection Book.
