Fortnite V12.10 Patch Notes Update: Proximity Mine, Bug Fixes and and Supply Llamas

The developer of Fortnite called Epic Games surprised the players of Fortnite Battle Royale with the release of the Fortnite V12.10 update that was released on Match 3. The update was announced only 6 hours before it went live, and a lot of players were excited about it and were curious what is going to add to the game.

The patch of it came out at 4 AM Eastern Time, and after less than two hours, all the servers were back up and all the players could see all of the changes that have come with it. actually, Epic Games did not release patch notes for the Fortnite Battle Royale update.


Both Creative and Save the World have gotten patch notes but the players had to discover the changes in the player versus player mode on their own. In fact, it turns out that the video game developer named Epic Games has released a few of changed to the game with the Fortnite V12.10 update patch, including changes to the map, the addition of a new item, bug fixes, and many more.

  1. Supply or Loot Llamas Return

Supply Llamas have made their return to the popular game called Fortnite Battle Royale. They were added in the v3.30 update. All of them were removed with the chapter 2 season 2 update, but have been added back in the Fortnite V12.10 Fortnite update. This item does not drop any weapons, but it is very useful for building materials and the other items such as Launch Pads, Shield Potions, and the others.

  1. Proximity Mine

Proximity Mines were added to the files in the Fortnite V12.10 update but have gone live in the new update. All the players have been coming across the new item after the update and have been posting images and clips on the social media.

Apparently, Proximity mines drop in stacks of 3 with a max stack size of 6. All of them deal 50 damage upon the automatic denotation when an enemy is close by. Aside from that, you will also be able to see a player silhouette through walls for a short period of time.

Every player has already started finding tricks of how to utilize these proximity mines to be useful without the automatic detonation. You are able to pickaxe yoru proximity mine that will launch it in the air. You will then be able to pickaxe it whilst it is in the air and it fill go flying in the air towards the direction you pickaxed it and will detonate in the air.

  1. Bug Fixes

A few bug fixes were included in the Fortnite V12.10 update. Those include XP coins XP not showing in the XP bar, unable to close the Fortnite map with the map input if it is bound to a directional pad on control, weak points not registering when hitting close to them, the big haul glider variant not unlocking and many more.
