There is an Ancient Ship in Fortnite on the borders of Craggy Cliffs, and if your squad collects all three missing parts, you are able to make it launch. In this page, you will be able to see the guide that will explain how to launch the ship in the game and what you must do to get it done quickly.
In order to start the launch the ship challenge or quest, you have to go to the Ancient Astronaut ship on the map. The ship is located in the north east of Craggy Cliff.
Collect and install missing parts Fortnite
There is no certain order in which you have to collect and install the missing parts of the ship for this launch the ship Fortnite mission. However, there are some missing parts and where to find and collect them below.
Collect and install Battery Pack
Apparently, the Battery Pack missing part is the closest part to the Ancient Astronaut ship. You will find it in the water towards the south west side of the ship. You are able to install it by looking at the top right side of the ship. It will then instruct you to install the battery pack.
Collect and install Thruster
This one is probably the furthest missing part for the launch the ship challenge. You will find this one in the south of the ship lodged into the cliff. Go back to the ship to install it.
Collect and install Heat Shield
It is a bit difficult to find, but you will hear a noise for all the parts to help you locate all the missing parts. You will find the heat shield on the sandy part closest to the ship. It will be under some rocks which you will need to destroy.
Launch the ship
Once you have collected and installed all the missing parts, you can launch the ship. If you are looking at the ship, it will tell you to launch the ship. All that you have to do is to simply interact with the ship and you are able to launch it. Once you have done that, you will get a big message saying that challenge event started. You will be able to see a big green shield surrounding you and the ship.
Start the launch sequence
The launch sequence part of the challenge will complete automatically. Then, you just have to wait down the timer you see towards the top left side of the screen. Once the timer ends, the space ship will launch off and you will have successfully launched the ship in the game. Keep in mind that what remains after the ship launch are a few rifts around the location of the ship.
The developer of Fortnite called Epic Games has been adding secret challenges for Fortnite Battle Royale including challenges relating to gnomes and coral buddies. They provide a large chunk of season XP upon completion. With the Fortnite map changes, the Ancient Astronaut ship is available on the game map.
