In order to configure stretched resolution in Fortnite, you can start by settings your in game Window Mode to Fullscreen. It is important and the custom resolution will not work otherwise. Feel free to change the X and Y to the custom resolution that you want and save the file. Depending on the graphics card is from either NVIDIA or AMD, you have to make some additional changes. For those who have the NVIDIA video card, you will have to change the resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel as well. You are able to usually find the NVIDIA Control Panel by right clicking on the desktop and then it should be in the pop up menu. When you are in the Control Panel, you have to change the resolution by clicking on Change Resolution, choosing one of the predefined resolutions or create your own custom resolution, clicking on Customize, checking the Enable resolutions not exposed by the display, clicking Create Custom Resolution, setting the Horizontal pixels and Vertical lines to your desired resolution, clicking Test, checking it and clicking OK, and clicking Apply.
As with the thing called AMD, you have to create a custom resolution in the AMD Radeon settings by opening your AMD Radeon Settings, clicking Display, clicking on Create next to Custom Resolution, typing in the Horizontal Resolution and Vertical Resolution, saving it, right-clicking on your desktop and clicking Display settings, selecting the custom resolution you just created and clicking Keep changes.
