Finding the treasure map location of Retail Row is the objective of one of the Fortnite’s many Weekly Challenges. Completing this challenge will give you additional XP in order to help go towards your many Season 3 rewards. Please take a note that you will have to be in Battle Pass holder if you want to undertake the challenge.
How the treasure map of the Retail Row works? For the Week 7 Challenges, your job is to follow the treasure map in the Retail Row (1 total, 10 Battle Stars). Another challenge during Week 7 includes the search for the hidden gnome in different named locations.
Apparently, Retail Row hides the map that paves the way to the hidden treasure. Not only players with the Battle Pass will be allowed to see it, and on it features the diagram of where the treasure is able to be found. However, you are able to skip the first step and head straight to the treasure location, as explained later on the page, if you want to do so.
With the other challenges, you need to do these as you play matches, you are not able to enter the map without the other players, so you will need to avoid combat encounters as you try to find each location.
For your information, the Retail Row is located near the center of the map, off to the west. However, you do not have to go there first. the map features a maze, that you are able to find in the center of Wailing Woods in the north east of the map. At the time, it is entirely reasonable to actually quit out of the game of Fortnite Battle Royale and join the brand new game. You need to go to the maze. In order to find the treasure, specifically you will want to go the lower left corner (south west) of the maze, then go north, to the dead end just ahead. When you find the right spot the treasure will show up on the screen. All that you have to do is to use the button prompt that shows up on the screen in order to collect it.
When you are floating down towards the ground with the parachute, you will want to find the tower pictured on the treasure map, and align yourself with it so you are facing north. When you actually want to go to the opposite the red and white awning, even though landing at the tower itself and then descending into the maze to find the treasure is another whole viable option. Another tactic is to simply go into the maze from the southern entrance.
Please take a note that you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished. Quitting the match as soon as you collect it will not work, so be sure to keep going. You are encouraged to use the chance to complete the other challenges, perhaps, or simply try and finish as high as you can.
