Visit Different Wind Turbines in a Single Match Forbes

The thing called Fortnite has launched the new series of challenges in week 5. This one marks the destruction of Polar Peak and the escape of the giant monster to somewhere that no one is quite sure yet. Actually, the challenges have nothing to do with all that, and you can expect that is being saved for the special event somewhere down the road here.

What about the week 5 challenges? Here is the full list you are being asked to take on the week:

The free challenges include dealing damage to opponents with Grenades, Dynamite or Stink Bombs (0/200), searching chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights (0/7), and eliminating the opponent in different matches (0/5). As for the Battle Pass challenges, they include Stage 1: completing a lap of a desert race track (0/1), Stage 2: completing a lap of a snowy race track (0/1), Stage 3: completing a lap of a grasslands race track (0/1), placing trap items in different matches (0/5), visiting different Wind Turbines in a single match (0/5), and eliminations at Sky Platforms (0/3).

Apparently, a lot of travel involved here, going all over the map for racetracks, wind turbines and sky platforms. The race tracks are quite popular at this point, but the challenge is going to be a decent amount of work for five measly battle starts. This one does not specify what vehicle you have to use for these, but most have a bunch sitting around.

Where are the Wind Turbines challenge locations? Keep in mind that all of the Wind Turbines on the map are centered around one called location and that is Pleasant Park. It looks like that the town has switched over to wind energy so there are a bunch of Wind Turbines scattered on the outskirts. Actually, there are more than 5 of these (seven in total) so you do not have to visit all of them.

What you have to do is to go to at least 5 of the 7 Wind Turbines within the same match to complete the challenge. For some reason, within the first match, you will get close to each of the 5 Wind Turbines and no notification popped up on the screen.

In fact, Wind Turbines are hard to miss on the map. It is not sure whether you have to go stand on them or simply be near them, as one is much easier than the other. Sky platforms are similar and you will need to hope people are also there to kill as they themselves try to complete the challenge.

The rest of them are standard, doing damage with the explosives or gas, killing people period or going to either Salty Springs or Frosty Flights for some chests. Given the path of the monster, we will not rule out either of those locations potentially being destroyed down the road, so it is better for you to go visit them while there is still time. Please complete all those tasks and you will get the week 5 loading screen.
